Stop retyping URLs to check the same page

Register your environments once. From then on, EnvHop knows where you are and takes you to the same page anywhere else.

One-click switching

Click the toolbar icon to jump to the same page on another environment. With a single target it switches instantly; with several, pick one from the popup.

Keyboard shortcuts

Alt+Shift+A to switch. Alt+Shift+L / D / S to go straight to local / dev / stg. The shortcut to production works only if you assign it yourself.

Context menu

Right-click to open any registered environment in a new tab or a new window — handy for comparing dev and staging side by side.

Know where you are at a glance

The toolbar icon shows a badge for the current environment. Colors are customizable per environment.

Guard against production mistakes

Production pages show a red warning banner (top bar, corner label, or hidden). You can also require a confirmation dialog before navigating to production.

Share settings with your team

Generate a share URL per project; teammates open it to import the same setup. JSON export / import is also supported.

Set up in under a minute

No account, no server. Everything lives in your browser.

  1. Add a project

Open the options page and click + Add project.

  2. Enter your environments

    e.g. localhost:3000 / dev.example.com / example.com

  3. Hop

Open a registered site and click the toolbar icon — or press Alt+Shift+A.

Flexible URL matching

Exact, wildcard and regular-expression patterns. Subdomains such as tenant names are carried over to the target environment.

Exact https://dev.example.com Matches every page under that origin.
Wildcard https://*.dev.example.com acme.dev.example.com → acme.stg.example.com
Regex ^https://(?<tenant>[a-z]+)\.example\.(com|co\.jp) Named groups are reused when building the target URL.

Privacy first

  • Settings are stored only in Chrome storage (including Google account sync).
  • No browsing history or settings are ever sent to external servers.
  • The “tabs” permission is used only to check whether the current page's URL matches a registered environment.
